Jim Rotholz, PhD, worked five years in missions and international development in Nepal, Somalia, and Ethiopia. He also served a brief tenure as Assistant Professor in the Department of Anthropology at Washington State University. His most recent book (his forth) is Best Day Ever: The Inspiring Life and Legacy of Jesse Rotholz is about his amazing son who died of malaria after a mission trip to Uganda in 2019. He and his wife, Louise, currently live in SW Virginia. He has a grown daughter who lives in Eugene and works as a disability access advisor at the University of Oregon.
