Sheryl Knapp graduated in 1992 with Bachelor's Degree English/Creative Writing (yes, the Degree states it that way) with Journalism minor and a High School Newspaper Meritorious Service Award. Her first book, “Silent Prayers, A Single Mother’s Guide of Hope and Freedom from Abuse” was printed in 2011.
Further, she is a published poet and author of articles "A Reason For Stuffed Bunnies and Computer Games" and "A Frugal Friendly Family Home" both on Penny Thots website; a poem “The Crane” selected out of 300 entries published her college’s magazine: Metrosphere, 1992; and five poems in their newsletter DV888s; “Twitches” 1990, an article about her daughter’s battle growing up with Tourette’s Syndrome on a website So There Books (no longer online).
She currently lives in Castle Rock, Colorado as a freelance author and poet while volunteering at her church, where she has been a member and student of Bible studies since 1995.
