Lisa Gavin's main interest is in American history. Her goal is to help both adults and children appreciate how God has blessed us today by sharing what she has learned about how people lived in the past, their struggles and the faith they needed to overcome what they faced in their day to day lives in early America. She is a graduate of the Institute of Children's Literature and currently has several published devotions at christiandevotions.us. She was published in the first copy of DevotionMagazine in 2013, and her first book review was published in 2013 for PrairieWind Newsletter. Currently, she is a weekly contributor at www.tblfaithnews.com. Lisa is a member of SCBWI (Illinois Chapter of The Society of Children's Book Writers and Illustrators, and a member of FaithWriters.com. She lives in central Illinois with her husband, Dan, and their growing family which started with 3 children, added 1 son-in-law, and now includes 3 grandchildren! Someday, she will reside, and write, at the seashore!
