Within a year I was hired to write a screenplay - something I had never done before. Six months after that, in July of 1997, I was sitting in the offices of 20th Century Fox going over negotiations to sell them my script. Though the film did sell, it was never made, and the years following took a similar course. For the next decade I was a paid screenwriter in Hollywood, and operated a freelance copywriting business on the side. I was paid well for my work, but something always seemed to be missing. I was producing material, but I never really felt as though I was contributing. Last May, after almost fifteen years of secular writing in a myriad of fields, I realized why I had such an empty feeling. I was taking a gift God had given me, and instead of using it to glorify Him, I was using it to glorify me. So God, being the perfect Father He is, loved me so much He would not allow me to prosper to any great degree in something that might take me further from Him than I already was. As of last May I became a strictly Christian writer. I moved across the country to Asheville, NC and walked away from every career I had built, and every contact I had. I was determined to start fresh - to serve my Lord with renewed vigor, and to use my gift for the purpose to which He gave it me. I am no stranger to writing for the public, having been published many times.  I've written articles; web pages; one sheets; press releases; produced television commercials; full feature films; TV pilots; pitch presentations, and a myriad of other promotional materials including articles on effective customer service for company newsletters, dog training, and jazz.   Yet that only sums up, to me, what is the least important parts of my experiences and potential contributions to your business.  Since 1997, I have been studying my Bible.  I have studied it in the original languages using a Strong's Concordance, and a Green's Interlinear.  I have studied Biblical Archaeology by way of E. Raymond Capt; E. W. Bullinger and Dr. Barry Fell.  I have studied Biblical Astronomy, Numerics, tribal migrations, weights and measures, Sumerian and Akkadian History; as well as books by Howard B. Rand; Joseph Mahan; C. S. Lewis; Josephus, and a handful of modern day scholars as well.  I am well versed in the Old and the New Testament, and am an excellent writer, teacher, and researcher.  I am currently in my first year of seminary school.  After 14 years of daily study, I thought it might be time to acquire some kind of degree.  As of last May, I relocated from Los Angeles, California and have been writing consistently for a local Western North Carolina Christian Newspaper.  As of March, three of my articles will be featured in Living Redeemed Magazine - a new publication which will begin as an ezine with the goal of going to print within the year.  I am a Christian Life Coach (by donation only) and have been writing a Christian blog since a year ago October. I am also an avid follower of politics, and a firm believer in the fact that the only way to bring this nation back to its roots, is for Christians to start acting like Christians again.
