I am a happily married step-mom of two teen boys and a wonderful young woman. I have three bright and beautiful grandchildren. My family and I live in a rural setting in South Georgia (it is a separate state!) and we love our location. We are part of a small, closely knit community and we worship at a small country church. I work part-time in our closest "big city" (about 15,000 people) library. Children's Programing is my main task and I have a great time with the kids. I enjoy crocheting and cross-stitching, and occasionally I actually find time to indulge in those hobbies. I have always loved reading and writing. If I could trace my inspiration to become a writer back to one particular incident or person, it would have to be my 7th grade English teacher, Mrs. Durham. We were given a picture and asked to write a story about it and she loved my story, flaws and all. I feel that God has given me a gift and that I need to use it to glorify Him.
