I am semi-retired and have lived in Hawaii for 30 years. Spent most of my career in Christian radio so I've always been a communicator but it has always been verbal. This is my first attempt at writing for others to read. But I do write for myself a lot. I spend a few minutes in the Word each day and then journal my thoughts about one or more verses. I've been doing it for about three years and it has been the best discipline I have ever developed in my Christian walk. We all have dreams and one of mine is to one day publish a devotional book. But I've never believed in myself enough to pursue it. Why would anyone want to read what I've got to say? But the dream has been hanging around so I'm going to at least start the wheels moving in that direction, and I figure the best place to start is by joining a group like this and getting some feedback. So I'll be posting a few things and if you have the time, I would appreciate your honest input. I really do want to learn. Then when my book makes the best seller list, I'll fly you over and we'll have a luau!
