What Are You Doing For Christmas?


Christmas is almost here again,
It's getting worse each year,
Those who don't love Jesus spreading
Their own Christmas cheer

In stores they say Happy Holidays
To people in the malls,
Away they say with manger scenes
And babes in donkey stalls.

No more wisemen bearing the gifts
Nor shepherds in the field
To those who don't believe in God
They say that we must yield.

Those who want to crowd Jesus out
All seem to have their way.
And we sit idly by as they
Remove Him more each day.

No more singing Christmas carols
Nor programs in the schools,
That would be out of the question
It's now against the rules

Children can sit on Santa's lap
Reindeer can pull the sleigh,
But Baby Jesus can't be seen
In a manger filled with hay.

When we can no longer worship
And want someone to blame,
We must look in the mirror and
We'll hear God call our name.

The politicians we elect
They don't want us to say
Merry Christmas any more but
Happy New Year's still okay.

Christians must not let it happen
So when in stores let's shout,
Merry Christmas! for that is what
This season's all about.,
