I find it funny that people would actualy try to make something look more attractive than my Jesus...
Try and give me a reason not to shout
to let the mountains hear my praise
and the rivers feel my joy
but you’ll hear me shout anyway.

Try and give me a better way
than this narrow path I tread
this hard rocks and sand way
but you’ll see me tread it anyway.

Try and give me a better life
filled with worldly glories
filled with earthly pleasure
but I’ll live this life anyway.

Try and give me a bigger dream
to fill up my days
dreams full of fame
but I’ll dream of Him anyway.

Try and show me a better man
than the One on the cross
the Gentle, Humble Healer
but I’ll love Him anyway.

For in my heart there is no room for persuading
no room for anything less than what I already have
so you may try, my dear
but be sure of one thing…
you will fail.
