this piece was writen on a day someone upset me with a comment, and I just sat down and wrote how I felt. It's not very poemlike, I know, but I would like your opinion anyway.
What is third world? Who decides? Who get’s to play God and divide up all mankind into human classes?
You are more developed than they are.
You are smarter than they are.
You are more civilized than they are, and you I will cast out, because you are different and I like myself.
What if God where to divide us into groups?
You are more beautiful, but they are more humble.
You have more endurens, but they have much more joy.
Wouldn’t we just all fall into the same category, seen through His eyes? Are we not all alike according to the most Holy Father?
Sinners.
All of us.
Doesn’t matter if I’m big or small, educated or underprivileged, hungry or sustained, black, white, brown, yellow, pink, green. He looks at me and you and sees only one thing…
I love you.
I love you.
I love you.
He doesn’t love me more and you less.
He doesn’t snarl at the beggar, but welcomes the rich.
For to Him there is no difference and he’s message is for us all.
So how dare I judge? How dare I look down at anyone? How dare I ignore His love for them?
