Through life I've read no written guarantee
That tomorrow's coffee brew may well be suitable for you,
In all truth, it may be far too strong for me.
I once was guided by anticipation,
This novice soon ensured she was relieved
Of heavy hessian boots, there was little I could do,
Ran barefoot through my own philosophy!
Imported beans, a blend of imperfection,
May qualify the value of the leaf,
As time becomes the lure, says the candid connoisseur,
We manufacture our own recipe.
Yet, I lift my cup with little hesitation.
I'm grounded in the process of the seed.
I've roasted,filtered,strained,saturated every grain,
To produce a brew whose name remains with me.
