The works of a man saying; Here am I, leading you home.
Peace and goodwill are impressions He left in a manuscript.
This gentle reminder, His words; I won't leave you alone.
Homeless unfortunates celebrate His love through charity.
Food for the hungry, the Salvation Army stands by.
Tables are laid, recognizing the silver lined serviettes,
Hunger is met, yet, each leave without saying goodbye.
In a house down the road, fairy lights seen embracing a Christmas tree.
Chimney breasts swollen with gifts, every stocking is filled.
Music is heard through the laughter of each friend and family.
Santa Clause called, yet he left without paying the bill.
