This my prayer. I write a lot of prayers to the Lord in poem form.
Send Your Spirit down to me.
Open these blind eyes and make me see.
I don’t wanna go without it even one more day.
Lord, pour down on me Your Spirit and grace.

I surrender to You everything.
Give me Your holy fire and make my spirit sing!
Being closer to You is my heart’s desire.
Send Your Spirit down and ignite me with holy fire!

I want my spirit to burn for You forever.
I want the fire that will burn through life’s stormy weather.
I want to be as close to You as I can possibly be.
Lord, please send Your Holy Spirit down to me.

Take me higher, all the way up to You.
Let me speak out with Your Spirit of truth.
Let me burn with Your words of fire.
Lord, send Your Spirit down and fill my soul’s desire.

My spirit longs to connect more with You.
My spirit longs to be filled with Your words of truth.
I don’t want to go one more day without Your holy fire.
Take me to the next level, I want to go higher.

Let Your Holy Spirit come down.
Lord, overwhelm me, flood me, fill me now!
Make me burn with Your holy fire.
Take me to the next level, Lord, I wanna go higher.
