For those who don't know what a palindrome is:
"A sequence that reads the same in either direction"
So read this poem forward, then backwards, and see what you think. Did I succeed?
Broken dreams are dreams broken,
Wasted time; time wasted,
Shattered lives are lives shattered,
Tasted sorrows, tasted.
Lessons learned are learned lessons,
Forgotten ones, forgotten,
Lust and pride is pride and lust,
Rotten begets rotten.
Christ our Lord is Lord our Christ,
Salvation brings salvation,
Tomb empty; empty tomb,
Nation, holy nation.
Risen Lord, our Lord, risen,
Living, ever living,
Sanctified, I'm sanctified,
Giving thanks, thanks giving.
