Don't let emotions control your life, let the Lord direct your path.
EMOTIONS



Don't live life on your changing emotions
But on the steadfast Word of God,
Emotions can lead down unstable pathways
Unfit for God's children to trod.

Emotions are always changing,
Just like the wind and the weather;
The Word of God never changes
It remains the same forever.

Feelings seem to be fragile and
We all need comfort now and then,
The Lord, is the God of all comfort
If you need it, just tell Him when.

Living life on your changing emotions,
Only brings you sorrow and pain;
And when your 'up' feelings are gone
You're 'down' where you started again.

Don't build your house on sinking sands,
But on God’s Word - the Rock of Ages;
Its Truth stands forever and has
Eternal life written on its pages.

The fleeting treasures of this world
Can’t ever truly meet your need,
But the blessings in God's storehouse
They never fail to succeed.

Trust the Lord for everything.
And let Him be your All in All,
You’ll find His grace is sufficient
So emotions can't make you fall
