TITLE: I choose to trust you

This poem expresses a thought about how just through the hard times in our life we have a choice to trust in God... It came from some of my own thoughts, but I guess it makes it so much different to choose the path, the hard times, to actually choose them because it's through this that God makes us more like Jesus... I hope you understand what I mean, just really choosing to trust in God through whatever situation we are in...
I don’t know where I am,
I can’t find you,
I don’t understand,
But I trust you.

The storm rages,
The thunder rolls across the sky,
I’m running,
It isn’t easy.

I can’t see the path ahead,
I don’t know what to do,
But the one thing that I know,
I can trust you.

This journey that I’m on,
Living by faith,
Holding on,
Perseverance.

Where am I going,
Where are you taking me,
I don’t understand,
But I trust you.

My Father,
I can’t see,
Where you are taking me,
But I choose to trust you.

Living by faith,
I call on your name,
You are in control,
You are faithful.

Almighty God,
My Father,
You know where I am,
I put my trust in you.

I can’t do this anymore,
But I am not alone,
You never leave my side,
I trust in you.

This journey that I’m on,
It isn’t easy,
Yet I continue on,
I’m following you.

It isn’t chance that brought me here,
I chose to follow you,
I chose this path,
Because I trust you.

How to continue on,
The future is unseen,
But I’m not running anymore,
Because I trust you,
I choose to trust you.
