Even with Margaret, Charles, and Jack.
Still you found time to knit dozens of hats.
Your fridge always had side-by side doors.
Your soap opera’s are on between one and four.
You always wore dresses and never slacks.
and pretzels were always you favorite snack.
If you should ever be without gum
You always told me I should chew on my tongue.
Now that we’ve parted just for a while
These are the things that bring me a smile.
Some day soon even though it’s time is unknown
We’ll meet again when Jesus too welcomes me home.
