Sometimes my poetry leans toward deep subjects the God is helping me work through. This is just a light fun memory of summer. Those "tiny toes" belong in a memory of my daughter when she was just a toddler. This is for her, as she languishes through a hot summer in the last weeks of her pregnancy!
Summer Moments

Soft breeze gently kissing cheeks,
Hot pink nail polish on tiny toes.
Long languishing days turning to weeks.
Laughter melting moods, fading woes.

New outlooks, fresh morning dew,
Unseen pleasures peek through the light.
No problems, each day is new.
Summer moments, hold them tight.
