TITLE: My Brother's Keeper By Lymandia Allen 06/16/07 |

My Brother’s Keeper
He’s the shoulder that I cry on whenever I’m in need
He’s the ear
That listens when He’s far and near
Whenever I feel alone in Him, I will find my friend
He is my brother through thick and thin
He’s the calm after the storm, when I’m discouraged He is my comfort
When I’m enraged He is my peace
He is my shelter from the rain
And the relief for my pain
In my pain, he is my strength and for Him I must stand
So am I my brother’s keeper? Yes I am
When I speak of He, am I speaking terms of GOD or am I speaking of man?
If I said both, would you really understand?
GOD made man and I was made from HE
I die and live everyday, because of my brother you see
My battles are fought, not by my friends, but by my brother
By HIS stripes I am healed, and by HIS blood I am covered
My problems are minute, and life isn’t as bad as it seems
Because of what my brother did, I have dominion over everything
Am I my brother’s keeper, why wouldn’t I be?
By my brother, I am kept, and before I was born HE died for me
My brother loves me so much that what HE gets from the Father I also receive
Because of my brother, we have been blessed under the same anointing
In the world I was lost and had no place of my own
Because of HIS mercy and grace, He found me a home
Our house brings forth leaders and the Head of our house has builders’ hands
He builds up lives and train young boys to be grown men
At the lowest point of my life, my brother wiped my tears and said,
“Now you are free.”
My brother went through hell, eternal death and torture,
And HE came back in three days just to save me
I know oh yes! He is great and I love HIM indeed
He protects me and cares, because HE first loved me
My brother died on Calvary and no one gave what HE was chosen to give
It is because of my brother that I die to live
Both of my brothers do what’s necessary they love me and I love them the same
But my BIG BROTHER is my saviour and I bless everything in HIS name
My brother does a lot for me, but you too can receive
Open your heart
Confess with your mouth
That it is in Him, in which you believe
You know I can go on and on about my brother and how much HE cares
And How I desire to be like Him, so always it’s HIS cross that I must bare
All I know is the peace He gave me the day He took my hand
My brother gives me strength and for HIM I must stand
Am I my brothers’ keeper??
YES I AM.
