Even though we hope and pray,
Some of the world's problems won't go away.
Deception, discrimination, hatred, and greed
Are things I don't think we really need.
There are bigots in every race,
So they say to my face.
Why so much hatred for your brother?
Can't we all learn to live together?
If we could just learn to see the world through a blind man's eye;
The world would be a much better place for you and I.
Though he can't see
A blind man does not prejudge others unlike you or me.
He doesn't base his opinion on the color of skin;
He makes his decision on the person within.
Man or women it's no big deal
Because the blind man sees everyone as an equal.
