You said that you loved me
You said it to be true.
You said that you loved me
I said "I love you too".

You promised me your soul
You said it was all mine.
You promised me your soul
I said - "I'll take it this time".

You said you'd never love another
You said my love was all you needed.

I said "if only these words you had heeded".

You said someone spoke to you today
You said they loved you more than I do.

You know that I AM THE TRUTH,

This was written for my step-son Beney. He had come to
know Christ as his Savior, however he also had
a love for drugs.
He has now given his life completley to Jesus
and is totally in love.
