Something we all need to ask ourself.
As God looks back on your life
Will you hide your head in shame
Was anything for His Glory
Was all for personal gain

Did you help your fellow man
In any way help the needy
Did you take care of only yourself
Were you selfish, uncaring and greedy

Did you ever take the time
To spread God’s word to man
Right now would be inconvenient
If I have time later I can

Did you believe He gave his Son
That His life was about forgiving
Did you hold ill will in your heart
Believing hatred is all part of living

If asked this important question
What would be your reply
Can you answer it honestly
Would you worry it is a lie

As you stand before God
What do you think He’ll say
"Come in, welcome home my child"
Or "Sorry but you can not stay"
