You try to hide all your scars
But He sees them
You ask Him to take away your pain
But He lets it go on
You put on your “happy face” for others
He sees the real you
Dear one, let go of your anger
God loves you
Let God have your bitterness
God will take it
For some reason He’s allowing this trial
He will see you through
When all is done and the dust settles
God will have you
A little closer to Him
For your fiery trial
So do not give up, dear one
Don’t give up on God
God won’t give up on you
He will always see you through
God will not take your anger
You must give it
God won’t take away the bitterness
You must freely give
When you give, give it forever,
You can not take it back to hold on
To it’s old familiar comfort later on.
You must let God have it…
Every morning, give it to God
Every day
Every evening
Every night
And every time it knocks on your mind’s door
Let Jesus answer it for you
Jesus will empty out your anger and hurt
So He can fill your life’s vessel
With love, joy, and hope for the future.
But it must be empty for him to fill it.
Why carry what you have,
When you can carry something much more valuable…
The love of God, in you.
