Startled
I woke to see
A brilliant being
Over me
Oh son of man
Do not fear
Right thyself
And come up here
He took me high
Up into space
And showed me things
All in there place
Beyond our galaxy
We traveled far
Past our sun
To the furthest star
I saw other beings
Not like we
And learned of things
That could not be
I heard voices
From eons past
I saw worlds
That would not last
Visions so lovely
Others so sad
I laughed so hard
At times grew mad
Still further and further
Away we flew
Past galaxies of red
Novas of blue
Where are we going
I had to say
Look ahead
And they may
Beings so great
Within my mind
Showed me wonders
We’d never find
Miracles of health
And wisdom far
Entire worlds
Within a jar
Where are we now
I had to say
A thousand years
As to a day
Gold and jewels
One on one
Glimmering brightly
Like the sun
All at once
We were there
The end of all
We stopped to stare
Is this what
I think to be
Yes he said
Now, look to me
All you’ve seen
All that is
Will end up here
They are all His
Billions of worlds
Creature and man
Reside within
His loving hand
Millions of chances
All have had
Some did good
Most did bad
Yet His love
For each did give
His only Son
That each may live
So, when you feel
Alone you are
Look up here
Pick a star
Other races
And peoples old
Worlds so hot
And others cold
Each speck of dust
And grain of sand
Within them all
His wisdoms stand
The end of time
All worlds will be
Gathered here
With you and me
Yes one heaven
For every one
Yet one Father
And one Son
