This was written for a young lady that I have known since birth. I also knew here brother since birth. He was murdered. We were talking about the way he could make her laugh.
Remember when you think of me
Our years and memories together
Mortal life is given different amounts of time
Unfortunately it doesn't last forever
Together we grew, lived and learned
Protected each other as siblings do
Even though I am not here
My love still remains with you
Death is untimely, no matter an age
It doesn't make the grief any less
Be thankful for the time that our Lord gave
To console each other during times of distress
I know you feel our time was cut short
Sorry, I'm not here to heal you with laughter
Please try to laugh and heal on this last thought
I'm with God living Happily Ever After
