TITLE: The Road Less Traveled By james scarberry 05/09/06 |
|
With many trees around,
I walk across the leaves,
That lie crisp upon the ground.
When on this road I reach a place,
Where my path splits to two,
I can choose the path to life,
or choose the one to death.
The path that leads to death,
Is glorious and smooth,
With it's grace and elegance,
Surely this one I must choose.
While the road to life is vissible,
It is almost impossible to see,
With the underbrush and broken limbs
Which have fallen from the trees.
This road is cracked and ragged,
As if it's been ignored,
It is obvious not many,
Have traveled it before.
