My Prayer O Lord
Please Bless me with Hope
I have lost all of mine
Replacing it with alcohol and dope
These things I always think about
They're on my mind the most
It seems they have taken mine
Turned Hope into a ghost
There are times I could control myself
I could get my life on track
Being this way frightens me
So I end up going back
After You Bless me I must desperately hold on
If I truly want all my demons to be gone
Please Bless me O Lord
Help me to my feet
My spirit may be losing but
With You it's never beat
I am Praying for your help
To get back in the fight
I want to take my wrongs and
Turn them back to rights
By following your guidance, these things, they can be done
My life will become normal
I will feel I have finally won
There are many things that I must do
In learning how to cope
First I must have Your Blessing
