 SEND ARTICLE TO A FRIEND
I watch as the sun sets on the horizon
Another day wasted pursuing meaningless quest
Another day closer to the end of my existence
Each wave brings a reflection of a past gone
Reflections of broken dreams and unnoticed blessings
Blessings the Lord sent and dreams he would help fulfill
I weep as reflections of time not spent with my children and family go by
Time never to be replaced
Wave after wave of sorrow crash in front of me
Each carrying something I have taken forgranted
My soul cries as I drop to my knees asking "Why"?
As I ask the Lord to forgive me the sun disappears
It is replaced by a moon shining on calm glistening water
Reflections of a brighter more meaningful future appear
Reflections of my Grandchildren and the time I have to spend with them
Blessings I have been given after the ones unnoticed
Reflections of new dreams and the time I have been given to fulfill them
Reflections of getting closer to God where there is no end to my existence
It is then I hear a message in the warm breeze blowing by
"Why What"?
