3) Read guidelines and critique another writer and earn 1 credit to post another 1,000 word or less piece.

Hopefully expressions of my pain and how my faith held me up will help others experiencing the same things in their lives.
No one said that life’s a breeze,
gliding smoothly by.
In a thousand pieces on the floor
our shattered dreams may lie.

Tears may flow in endless streams
we feel so all alone.
But deep within our broken hearts
our neediness is shown.

We seek the Lord but know not how
to get the peace we need.
We must find the Holy One
whom for our sins did bleed.

So lift your prayers straight from the heart
and seek His loving face.
Then broken pieces of your life
will start to fall in place.

You must ask God to show the way
to guide each step that’s taken.
His Holy Spirit will in-dwell,
you will not be forsaken.

God will show you what to do
when things don’t go as planned.
Simply lift your heart to Him
and take hold of His hand.

God’s loving arms will hold you tight
and give you strength to cope.
New dreams will come in God’s own time.
New purpose, faith and hope.
