The hurricane called life is always spinning
Tossing everything around
So at times you have to focus
To land safely on the ground

Despite the trials and tribulations
Despite times when darkness looms
There's always a light at the end of the tunnel
For your mind has many rooms

Lift up your head at the mighty storm
And shake a sturdy fist
Determined you shall over come
Your life this storm will miss

Don't submit and do not give up
Because some say you should
For in you there is strength
In you there’s so much good

Don’t be a follower when you seek to lead
Don't sit still when you seek to give
Time is short and fades fast
Only one life do you live

Take time to be alone
Time to just to breath
Time to be with those you love
Before this earth you leave
