Angels Watching

I can hear the rush of angel wings
Everywhere I go
Watching over, protecting me
This one thing I know

We are never really alone
He is always there
And sends his blessed angels
Soaring through the air

At times I hear them singing
Sometimes praying on my behalf
And sometimes they are having fun
I know, I hear them laugh

Many times they have saved my life
They have given me comfort in times of distress
They have brightened up my day
When I was sad and depressed

I can't even imagine
How lonely it would be
If there were no angels
To spend some time with me

I look forward to the day
When I'll soar with them above
To live within His presence
And unconditional love

This life on earth isn't easy
There's trouble at every turn
But it makes us better people
Each lesson that we learn

But God doesn't want our lives
To end and that be all
Never to walk the streets of gold
Because we never heard His call

Thats why he sends his angels
To guide us on our way
It matters not who you are
They stay with us every day

Through trials and tribulation
Through good times and the bad
When your life seems meaningless
The days when you are sad

Just be still and listen
Perhaps you too will hear
The rush of the holy angel wings
Always, very near

Thought:

It is but a short time that we inhabit this place and then we are gone. We are not alone on this journey do not forget that. When you feel you are at your end, that there is nothing anyone can do to lift you up, that you cannot fight any longer, remember that you are only alone in this if you choose to be. Everything that happens in this life has meaning and purpose, sometimes we don't know what that is but if we listen, listen very intently.......He will show you and he will send his angels to guide you along the way.
