TITLE: I'm a Debtor?

I am aware that this is not a "conventional" poem...I do not give attention to meter or even rhyme alternating lines, etc. However, It is a conversation each Christian should have with their Lord.
"I'm a debtor? You mean, Lord,
that there is something to someone that I owe?
Is it, Lord, to be friend or neighbor
to someone I do not know?

"Yes, all," You say, need what I now have?
It's been given to them as well?
Of Your gift of love to the uninformed
I must now go and tell?

"I'm a debtor? You mean, Lord,
That I must not hoard the riches that you give?
That I should be giving, sharing,
Each moment that I live?

"My ear can be dull? My spirit prone
to live for myself alone?
You remind me of the price you paid,
How all man's sin on You was laid!
This seed was meant to be sown!

"I'm a debtor? You mean, Lord,
that I can selfish be?
Depriving others of Your joy
in not sharing the wealth you give,
I am also grieving Thee?

"Now, I know -- I'm a debtor indeed --
and Your command I must surely heed.
I must put You first in ev'ry way,
tell someone about You ev'ry day.

"Help me, Lord, Your witness to be --
No longer a debtor -- I'll be free!"
