This piece is targeted towards an audience of believers and non-believers; those in Christ and those who are in the world. This piece brings to light the adversaries tricks designed to draw us way from God and into our selves.
The social structure in which we live has gone mad. The forces that be, are stirring a pot of self-destruction; serving up an unhealthy helping to all those willing to have a taste. General societies relentless pursuit for “happiness” has driven them off the road of sanity, leaving them teetering on the brink of self-annihilation. In this topsy tervi world, entertainers rank higher than teachers and doctors push pills to all who comes their way. Botox injections and liposuction gets more media coverage than the spiritual genocide-taking place in our society today.



Here in this world the sons and daughters of vanity and idols have come full circle. Craftily disguised as freedom, their perversions of the truth come to keep the masses in bondage. A society that does not retain God in their knowledge must perish. The only truth that remains evident in their illusions of freedom, is that people will be free to destroy themselves.



In this mad world the end justify the means. Lust, greed and envy are setting the pace leading the way for the pursuit of happiness. God given talents are being exploited and pimped for financial gain at the expense of the consumer. Lies are told, written and sold to cover a multitude of sins. The music they chose to air, degrades races, confines and limits minds as bodies sway to the rhythm of the beat. Society say's were free?



I was once told that the majority of the people are wrong most of the time, as time passes society proves this over and over. Trends and patterns, styles and types, govern lives and shape minds. Using only a fraction of the brainpower that we are blessed with, people recycle wrong information over and over again. Misinformation is used to perpetuate lies and crush lives. As easily as the sheep is lead to the slaughter, people follow any wind of doctrine that blows their way. The heartless lead the blind into the deep dark abyss of their perverted psyche. False securities in place, the predators turn on their prey, attacking and robbing them of money and self. The victims of these injustices are left to be exploited and degraded.



Enter right stage the media. The right to free speech is a highly guarded privilege. The media covets this right and at times uses it in an inappropriate manner. The medias' personalities play out like a person who has been diagnosed with a Doctor Jekyll and Mr. Hyde complex. They side with every eyewitnesses's “honest to God” testimony and spread propaganda like wild fire. At times the media’s half-truths prove to be lies that crumble under closer inspection.



What men give they also take away. Idols go up and come down. Mr. Hot Stuff and Ms. Movie Star public figure are idolized; until the day, the nameless and faceless public decides to haul the red carpet from right up under them. Man cannot praise what his hands have made. To have self as the driving force of life is detrimental. Hope remains the saving grace, God the creator has provided a Savior to save us from ourselves.
