TITLE: The Broken Window By Larry Dudley 04/27/11 |

The Broken Window
When my world shatters and have all I can take
There is not much I can do when a window breaks
It’s broken all around me the pieces everywhere
I’ll survey all the broken parts and swear it isn’t fair
I think of broken windows as the Lord looks over us
And how I try to fix them not giving him my trust
When I go to clean it up, this shattered glass I find
I can’t believe it’s not in me to replace it anytime
There is a being that knows the way to reset all my pain
I have to let go of everything my pride, ego and shame
He’ll take all these pieces and in a melting pot
Will form it back together and replace it in it’s spot
