If Eve had not eaten of the fruit
We would have all day to play
Sadly Eve trusted in the serpent
She took of the forbidden tree
And gave to Adam to taste and be free
As they ate they felt ashamed
They now knew of good and evil
And sasw that thay where bare
From that day til Easter morn
Sin had hold on man
Which cut us off from our Creator
Until Jesus gave His life for you and for me
So all we just have to surrender and believe
And as He has promised we shall be free
