If I'm the only Bible
some people ever see,
I need to be a Bible
thats easy to read.
No contradictions, no hypocrasy
For I may be the Bible
to someone close to me.

If I'm the only Bible
that person ever reads
I need to think ahead to the harvest
as I faithfully plant the seeds.
I can leave no room for questions
also no room for doubt,
If I'm the only Bible
that person hears about.

People that I care for
may later look to me
so I need to be a Bible
thats good for them to see.
So Lord help me daily to remember
that I'm the only Bible
some people will ever read.
