Stars twinkle in a velvet sky
And the moon shines a golden glow.
Earth’s beauty grows dim in darkness,
Then the sky above steals the show.
Watching the stars flash secret code
Across more than a million miles
Makes me wonder what they must say…
And I ponder a little while.
Perhaps starlight conversation
Is worship for a holy God
And the moon glows in agreement…
Confirming with a quiet nod.
