With feelings of oppression
Closing in on every side
Alone no one to turn to
My soul begins to die.
When in the midst of darkness
A Light shines down on me
I looked up toward Heaven
A voice whispers to me.
"O Daughter of Creation
My face now shall you seek
My living Word awaits you
Our spirits shall now meet
My love for you is endless
My arms are open wide
O Daughter of Creation
With Me you shall abide"
The Light of my salvation
It shines on night and day
It radiates throughtout me
With never ending grace
O Sweet and Gentle Savior
With You I shall remain.
