A FINAL GOODBYE.


It’s over now, one final blow
Before the curtain of life closes
I made a mess of my life, I blew it
Nothing matters now, not poetry,
Not my husband, not my children or my pets
I blew it!

I am so sorry for the mess I made,
I am so sorry for the pain and tears I caused
Please forgive me, and let me be
Don’t try to save me,
Don’t try to revive this ugly soul, just let it be

Not even God want’s to understand
The pain and fear in me
No one knows how I feel
No one can ever understand
The lonelyness of my heart
The desire to be the best, have the best

Not for myself but for my family
Not because I deserve it, it is not true
I deserve death, that is the only thing that will set me free
Don’t try to stand in my shoe,
It’s a rotten stincky place to be
Please I blew it, just let me be

Death is knocking at the door
Don’t try to chase it away
I am knocked to the floor
Please don’t let me stay
I want to die
This is only my final goodbye
