GOD

Being in the presence of the Father
Quenches my soul, and it makes me whole
It’s like drinking life-giving water
It’s like a cool summer breeze
When His presence is surrounding me
I can only sit in amazement on my knees
Daddy, daddy is the cry of my heart,
When everything else is dimming, fading,
Daddy, daddy your loving arms around me,
Fills my heart with love and awe,
Your loving touch fills my soul, my being

Even the trees of the field clap their hands,
The whole earth trembles with joy,
The mountains bow before thee,
The clouds in the skies roar their praises to the Mighty God,
The wind in the trees, sing your praises,
In the presence of the Lord God.
God, God, God is the whisper of the wind,
God, Holy, Holy is Our God, the Ruler of everything,

Worthy of praises, Worthy, Oh so Worthy,
Glory and Honor to the King of Kings,
Worship, we Worship the Lord of lords,
To Him the whole earth sings,
He is Mighty, oh so Mighty,
This God of mine,
He is My Lord, My God, My King.

The birds sing their love to Him,
The Lion roars their praise to the King,
The beasts of the fields, jump with joy,
The fish in the sea, whisper His name,
All the children of the earth shout his Glory,
God, God, God, Almighty God
Holy, Holy, Holy, the angels cry
How magnificent is your Name,

You are the Ruler of the Universe,
You are the Bright Morning Star,
You are the Lamb,
You are the Lilly of the Valley,
You are the Light of the World,
You are the Way, the Truth and the Life,
You are the Holy God,
The Ruler of the Universe.

Yet you are small enough to dwell within me,
And big enough to hold the earth in the palm of Your Hand,
You speak to me in a soft gentle voice,
Yet you rule with authority over the earth.
Your gentle loving touch is like a soft whisper on my cheek,
Yet your strong Hand rules the universe.
God, God, in amazement I whisper your name,
Jesus, Jesus, Precious, loving Jesus, forever and ever the same.
