Most people say, “seeing is believing”---
They would have faith if only they could see;
Such thinking is fatal---self deceiving---
Men ignore the evidence, willfully.

The created world’s a faithful witness
That Someone greater caused these things to be---
The precise order of the universe---
Perfect unity in diversity.

Fulfilled prophecy proclaims loud and clear,
God’s sovereign foreknowledge and intent---
Sure confirmation for the ears that hear---
Testimony to Divine government.

There were fulfilled in Jesus’ first advent
More than ninety specific prophecies---
Clear evidence! How can men circumvent
And ignore infallible proofs like these?

If seeing were believing, all should believe---
Men can avail of abundant evidence,
But blinded minds will not these truths perceive---
Hard facts alone will not hard hearts convince.
