The 3 scriptures minister a message about a door. A door is an opening, entry, means to get into something or somewhere. A door is used as
1. An entry point
2. A security means
3. A bridge

John saw a door standing open in heaven. It was a bridge to another realm. A voice spoke to him, "Come up here and get revelation." Scripture also records that Hezekiah opened the doors to the closed Temple and repaired them. He understood their worth and use. For years the doors had been locked because God worship was no more. Their opening was symbolic to acceptance of God deserving of worship. Samuel opened the doors of the temple in the early morning after he had received his call. All the time they had been shut because no one cared about the door.

Open doors symbolize openness and liberty to come in and out. John confirms this word: "I Am the Door and he who comes to me will come in and out and find pasture." We must understand that Jesus is the door that opens up our relationship with God. The Bible records that He has the keys of David, keys that open and close without opposition. The same keys determine a new path for God's people. Scripture also records that there is an open door before us that cannot be shut. We too can determine the state of that door. Jesus says, "I stand at the door and knock."

WHAT CAUSES DOORS TO CLOSE?
1. Moving away from God. The Temple doors were closed as a result of sin and wickedness.
2. The destruction of a relationship between two things/places. A closed door cuts off communion between two extremes meaning that nothing can go in and or out.

The blindness of Eli to the things taking place in the Temple caused the door to be shut. There was neglect. The Tabernacle had but one door, one access to God. That same door has to be opened for fellowship to be restored with God. There are many doors limiting us and they need to be opened up. Closed doors are barriers and stop gags, an end to a path or way. Closed doors stall lives.

But a remedy has been found in the keys of David. They van open and shut any door. Praise be to God who has set before us an open door. Our quest must be to see the door and enter into it to find pasture.

- Samuel knew to open the doors in the early morning.
- Hezekiah knew to open the doors in the first month of his first year.
- John knew to open the door of heaven.
- Jesus knew to stand and remind us about the door.
- Ours is to unlock doors and get success doing so.

- In Revelations 4 there was a revelation of things to come
- In John 10:9 was green pasture in the door

HOW THEN DO WE UNLOCK THE DOORS?
1. Get into a right relationship with God, with Jesus who has the Keys of David. These keys have authority to decree and declare.
2. Understand the Word of God

3. Recognise the fact that you can open that door
