Observe the gorgeous tapestry
Embroidered by a gifted hand---
Displays its maker’s artistry---
There’s craftsmanship in every strand.

Each thread a tale of patience speaks---
A loving labour of the soul,
Of hours that turned to days and weeks,
As every strand makes up the whole.

Not a single thread’s out of place,
Nor a stitch ever missed or lost---
Such work of tenderness and grace
Is always worth the time it cost.

Forever it’s a testament
To its author’s love and care,
It was worth the time’s investment---
The masterpiece now hanging there.

The Christian’s walk’s a tapestry---
God’s Spirit working in his life---
Embroidery worked seamlessly
In His conforming us to Christ.
