It was 2000 years ago an angel, he came to Mary:
“You have found favor with God, you shall be pregnant with child”
But knowing no relations with man she said: “How could it be?”
“It is true; He is born the King of Kings
And His name shall be called Immanuel.”

She quickly bowed herself and said unto the angel
“I am espoused for marriage how will Joseph take it?”
She feared for her marriage and what the people would say
But knowing our Savior He will always have it His way
“I will let him know, don’t you worry.”

One night the angel, He came to Joseph asleep
“Your wife has found favor with God, she will be pregnant with child.”
And Joseph said: How come, my Lord, why did you choose her?
But the will of God was done, there was not going back
He is King, and He shall be born.

He is born, Savior of the world.
He is King and He will rule the world
In Bethlehem, He will be born
Like a King He will grace the Throne
And His Name shall be called Immanuel.
