From the depths of the pit, Lord, I cry unto You,
Hear my cry, hear my cry, I am sinking.
The storms of life have become harsher
I am overwhelmed, about to sink
But save me, save me.
They say deep calls unto deep, here I am
I'm in the deep, respond, respond.

My child, My child, fear not for I Am with you
Though you pass through the pits,
I have an escort waiting to pave your way out of it.
I have a destiny to take you too, a better place.
Though the storms roar and rage,
Yet here I Am, “Peace be still.”
From the depths of life I Am reaching down
To pull you up and give you room to breathe.

My God, my God, where are You, it’s dark all over?
I cant see my shadow, I cant see the way.
Do You care, are You there, do You love me?
Come on God, cant you see my situation?
Do something about it fast, lest I am a goner.
My enemies surround me prowling like lions
Waiting to cause my extinction
If You delay I'm a goner

My child, My child, I Am right here besides you
Hold My Hand, I’ll take you safely through this dark shadow
I care, I Am there, I love you, don’t you see it?
Too many questions, My child. Don’t be afraid
Look not at your problems; fix your eyes on Me.
Don’t worry about your enemies; the Lion of Judah is here.
You have a future; My plans for you are too dear.
Fear not I Am with you.

My God, my God…
My child, My child…
My Father, my King: I can see, I can see.
Good fro you My child, see some more.
Where my Lord, where my King?
Right before you, where you always looked.
But how come I never saw it before?
Because, My child, you never saw Me in it all.
