Wall Street clown with lives at stake.
Money thrown in the money chain.

He has no time for church or for his life.
Lost in the numbers of the stock exchange.

Never thought of missions or of others.
Caught in the sin of his selfish shame.

A lonely old blind street beggar,
Owns nothing but his tiny claim.

Wall Street banker high on his pride.
Passed his pocket money to the street lame.

The beggar goes off to the lottery to buy a ticket.
Taking a chance on the beggar's exchange.

A number on a card is its only worth,
But he promises his life to Christ, if he wins this game.

Praying for freedom and for another life.
He is lost in the plans of a future, he wishes to tame.

Numbers on a board; with two lives at stake.
The one with trust and faith will be aim.

One shrieks in anger, the other is filled with glee.
One lives for Christ. The other life will never be the same.

The one who turns from God has success for the moment.
They live lives in luxury and their own fame,

But if you confess your sins, God will deliver you.
The strong and the weak so darkness cannot touch you again.

This is a parable of the faithful and the faithless,
Or of a story of a beggar and a proud man with heavy sins.
