Saying that wanting to get all you can
Cheats the purpose of mortality’s goal.
Understand that you are not abandoned
And that others have endured the same road.
Forget vain attempts to prolong this death
The Offering of Hope will pass away.

Buoying to views, dreams, and philosophies
Does not explain things that are beyond you.
You may not arrive to understand God,
But reaching to believe God’s forgiveness
Will reveal the truth that there is so much
More that we do not know but have faith in.

Saying you’re lonely and that no one cares
Does not quiet the truth that God loves you
And always will be there. Still you answer,
“Love turning to pain is a tragedy.”
The pain Christ endured to love means He knows.
The answer is this Offering of Hope.
