Prophecy

THE VISION:
On this day I was praising the Lord and worshiping Him. I just got lost in worship, singing prophetically to the Lord. After a little while, I began to see a vision. In it, I saw myself seated with Jesus on what I knew was the “Mercy Seat.” This was a first but there was no mistaking it. This was being “seated in heavenly places with Jesus.”

I’ve heard a lot of people talk about how they always see themselves in visions on the right hand of Jesus. This is certainly Scriptural because Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father, and as His body, we’re seated there also with Him. But as for me, each time I’ve had visions and seen myself with Jesus, if I’m not directly facing Him, I’m always on His left side. The side of His heart.

In an earlier vision of being on the mountain with Jesus, I had purposely tried to move around to stand by Him on His right side---the side of His power. I suppose I wanted to test it to see if what I was seeing was just vain imagination. To show that you can’t manipulate true vision’s from the Lord, when I tried to moved to His right side, He promptly moved me right back to His left side. Then, with His arm around my shoulders He drew me in close to His heart.

What was the message in this? You can’t know His greater power until you know His heart. If you don’t stay in that abiding place close to His heart to receive guidance and wisdom, then His power will end up destroying you. This is what He let me know. Plus, it’s been my number one desire, my top priority to stay close to the heart of Jesus. I’ve cried out over and over that I just want to stay close to His heart. In my prayers, I’ve asked to be kept close to His heart.

Due to what I’ve been hearing recently of how people see themselves on the right hand of Jesus, I began to have a question about this. I don't anymore because Jesus let me know that He was giving me the desire of my heart. This is what I had been asking of Him and He had shown me over and over that He was giving me the desire of my heart, and that is to stay close to Him and to know His very heartbeat. He also let me know that my desires was becoming His desires, and He had been drawing me to His side.

Therefore, each time I’m with Jesus where I’m required to be on one or the other His sides, He always shows me that I’m being kept close to His heart. Do I know His power? His anointing? Yes, by degrees but not to the fullest degree yet that He wants to give me. I’m learning though that to be close to His heart is to know His power. It was the power of His love that defeated Satan on the cross. It is the power of His love, His heart of love that overcomes evil. So, I’m quite satisfied to be on His left side. To be on the side of His heart because there's no better place to be. There's no other place I want to be than here.

THE MERCY SEAT:
So, here I am on the Mercy Seat with Jesus. His arm is around my shoulder and I’m drawn in next to His heart. As I’m here with all of the splendor’s of heaven all around me. There is a of activity and much praise going on. But it’s as if this time with Jesus is a concentrated time of just being in His presence where I’m only aware of Him. In this respect, everything else around me pales in comparison--even as glorious as heaven is. Jesus is far more glorious.

As I looked at Jesus, I felt my heart would burst with love for my Lord and I kept saying, “Jesus, I love You.” Each time I said it, I felt love inside me expand my heart. Jesus told me much He loves me also and how precious I am to Him. He said, “All My children are precious to Me and I desire to have close fellowship with each one. I want My children to be assured of My love for them. They cry out for it but this assurance is experienced in My presence.” He tells us from His Word that He loves us, but it’s in His wonderful presence that He personally assures us of His love. We need both.

I felt such a love in me for Jesus, but I also felt such love coming from Him that it was like I was just being absorbed into Him. You could say I felt like I was melting into Him. The Bible says that as believer’s, Christ is in us, and we are in Him. He said Himself in His Word to “abide (live) in Him, and that He would abide (live) in us.” This is what I was experiencing---the abiding in Him through His love, and His abiding in me through His love. Everything comes through God’s love, even His Word to us because God is love and He can’t be motivated by anything but love toward us. Even in chastening. He chastens those He loves.

SEEING THROUGH HIS EYES:
Sometimes, there were no audible words spoken as I sat there on the Mercy Seat with Jesus, yet there was communication from His Spirit to my spirit. This has happened before when I’ve been in the heavenly realm but this time, I understood even more how it was in the Garden of Eden when God communicated with man Spirit to spirit and man was able to hear without hindrance.

No outside static of worldly distractions clouding up everything until what you hear sometimes sounds like garble. Then, it takes time sometimes to understand what God was trying to communicate with you. This wasn’t the case in the garden. Adam heard God speak to his spirit and he understood and communicated back to God in the same manner. But then, sin was brought into the garden by the devil and man was disconnected from God---much like cutting a telephone wire in the natural. One minute you’re talking to the person you’re connected with and the next minute, the phone just went dead. You were disconnected.

That's what sin did to mankind when Adam allowed the devil to cut the lines. Communication was broken and now man heard God through static and garble--a lot of times not understanding clearly what God is trying to communicate to His children. But God wasn’t without a back-up plan in case of malfunction. He had a plan of redemption through sending Jesus to earth in bodily flesh to go to the cross and shed His blood. The sacrifice of God’s only begotten Son, sent forth because of His great love for the world. Jesus did the work required of Him by the Father and He paid the price that was necessary to reconcile man back to God.

The problem for the malfunction (sin) was taken care of through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus. And when this happened, man was now re-connected to God through Jesus and His anointed blood. Communication was restored through the blood of Jesus and the empowering of the Holy Spirit abiding within. God has been working ever since to bring man back into the garden experience with Him where He spoke with man Spirit to spirit. This is known as, “the days of heaven on earth.”

I don’t know how much time passed because there is no measure of time in the heavenly realm. but as I sat there with Jesus thoroughly satisfied and at peace, He began to speak again about some things. “Look and see,” He said, looking out beyond Him. “Look through My eyes and see what I see.” I had been gazing at His face but now I turned around to look at where He was directing me. As I did, it was like this panoramic vista of the earth opened up and I saw people, masses of people in a frenzy. I was reminded of what the Scripture’s say about in the last days, people would be running to and fro upon the earth.

Car’s on the ribbons of intersecting highways looked like swarms of busy Bee’s, yet they were people who were in a frenzied hurry. If you’ve ever seen actual swarms of Bee’s like in Beehives, they are all bunched up together while busily trying to move. I’ve seen Bee’s like this where some would even crawl over the top of other Bee’s to try and get where they wanted to go. This is what I was seeing before me. It was like the world had gone mad and I was appalled because I’d been one of those in that sort of frenzied rush.

The Lord spoke, “So many of My people have gotten caught up in the world’s system and they don’t hear me when I call them to slow down and rest. To come apart and rest in Me. So much of the work they claim is given to them by Me, I never commissioned. The world and even those of My own are looking for answers to explain their life and they run to and fro trying to find the answers in so many different and fruitless things. I call out to them to come to Me for I alone am their answer and fulfillment. It is My answers they seek for. It is My Word’s of life they hunger for but their hunger and their thirst for righteousness will only be satisfied when they find it in Me. I am the Bread of heaven. I am the Living Water.

I am the Prince of Peace. I am the peace My people long for. Many of My children continue to chase after the world’s peace. As they reach out for it, they find it eludes their grasp much like an elusive butterfly and they're left confused and in frustration. They have not discovered that I Am. I am their joy. I am love. I AM, and they will find everything they’re searching for and seeking for in no other source but Me.

I said in My Word to seek the Kingdom of God first and His righteousness, and I would add all other things to you. My people have eyes to see but they don‘t see. They have ear‘s to hear but they don‘t hear the call of My Spirit as He comes to draw them closer to Me in communion. They must learn in this hour to seek Me and come into My presence for the answers they yearn for and cry out for. I have the word‘s they desire to hear.”


As the Lord spoke about these things, my heart was breaking from the weight of His words. I too had failed to come into His presence and spend time with Him and receive the answers my own heart cried out for. I also had been one of those caught up in “busy work” more times than I wanted to count. I even recalled the times when I knew Jesus was calling out to me to come aside with Him. But I was “busy” working for Him. I would either ignore the Holy Spirit’s nudge or say I would come aside just as soon as I finished with whatever it was that I thought was more important.

As painful as this truth was that was hitting my heart like a hammer, I still wanted truth and Jesus, being full of grace and truth, could be trusted to always bring me to know His liberating truth. We must know Jesus both in His goodness and in His severity in order to be set free of self-deception and all other forms of deception. I knew that I was being brought face to face with self-righteous pride in agenda’s that I had deemed as more important than time spent with Jesus. The weight of sorrow I felt upon my own heart was almost more than I could bear and my cry of forgiveness was all-important now.


“You’ve come to My Mercy seat and you have found grace and mercy in your time of need. You’re learning and you will learn even more in the days to come, that My judgments are good. They are never to crush you but to free you and bring you to know the glory of holiness. You’ve asked to know truth, regardless of how difficult it is and it’s My pleasure to give you the desires of your heart.” Even though at the moment I felt a sorrow in my heart, I also knew I was forgiven because of the blood and in that truth came a joy that crowded out the sorrow. There is peace and great joy in knowing that Jesus has forgiven you.

Again, my heart was so full of love and joy that I just couldn’t hold it in and I burst out with, “Jesus, I love You! I love You so much.” Over and over I told the Lord how much I loved Him. “Thank You for loving me and forgiving me. Thank you for revealing truth to me and helping me to bear the weight of it.” Jesus looked down and smiled at me, “You’re learning that My grace is sufficient for you. Paul found that My grace was sufficient also, as much truth was revealed to him.”

JESUS WEPT:
Jesus turned around to look at the mass of people running to and fro upon the earth. I followed His line of vision. This time, I saw what looked like clouds of darkness over a lot of the people. I also saw people in this mass who looked to have light about them but it appeared like headlights that are in the dimmer position. A few places, I saw some people whose lights, as it were, seemed to be on high beam but they were fewer in number.

I immediately felt the Lord’s sadness over this and I heard Him say, “I desire that all my children know the truth so they can be set free of the enemy’s grip. I long for them to turn to Me, to know Me, and to know that I love them beyond measure. If they would only seek for Me the way they seek for things that end up bringing them devastation and so much pain. I long to heal their broken hearts and bind up their wounds, for which I came. I do what I can to help them but they must totally come to Me in trust as the little children they are and receive their provisions.”

I looked up at Jesus and I saw a lone tear appear out of the corner of His eye and run down His face. It so struck my heart with emotion that I wanted to reach out and give comfort to Jesus somehow. I reached up and wiped the tear off His face with my finger. After I did so, I put it to my lips. As I tasted the Lord’s tear, I began to weep, knowing that I was being allowed to experience to some degree what He was feeling. It felt as if my very heart was literally breaking in to as I wept. Through my tears, I glanced at Jesus and said, “Jesus, I’ll weep with You.”

I just knew that my heart would explode in my chest with this love and compassion I was feeling. I wanted to and had a strong desire to draw all those people I had seen into a warm circle of His protective love and impress His truth upon their minds and hearts. I desired for them to “see” as Jesus saw them and through His eyes, see how the enemy was working to keep their minds clouded with deception.

I wanted them to know, almost with a desperation, how much Jesus loves them and wants to heal them and make them whole. How He longs for them to come into His presence and get to know Him---to know His heart. The Lord finally said to me, “Release what you’ve received. Freely you’ve received, freely give it to other’s.”

Hebrews 4:15-16, “For we have not a high priest which cannot be touched with the feeling of our infirmities (weaknesses); but was in all points tempted like as we are, yet without sin. 16-Let us therefore come boldly (with confidence and assurance) unto the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need.”

John 11:35, “Jesus wept.”

May we all come with confident assurance to the throne of grace to receive mercy and find grace in our times of need. Jesus is beckoning the Church, His people through the Holy Spirit, to come closer and closer to Him in these days we’re in now. I perceive that part of the reason is because time is short and because of what lies ahead for the Army of God in terms of spiritual war between light and darkness.

We’re going to need to be securely in this abiding place in Jesus, under the shadow of His mighty wing in the days that are just ahead of us. Will the Church come into her state of being a glorious Church? Jesus said that we would and so we shall. We, the Church, the Bride of Christ will be beautiful in her unwrinkled and unblemished garments of pure white for her Bridegroom but don’t forget that the Bride also wears combat boots.

Not only is she glorious but she is also a War Bride, for which the Warrior Himself, the Lion of the Tribe of Judah, is coming soon to claim her for His own. In the meantime, may we all be found persuing after God with unbridled passion and an insatible hunger for holiness and a thirst for righteousness. “Blessed is he who hungers and thirsts after righteousness, for he shall be filled.”
