My lullaby to sleep,

I close my eyes
as sleep comes upon me,
With my mind cleared of the days
responsibilities, I gaze upon you,
and I sense your holy spirit wash
over me,
like a gentle stream, it refreshes me,
As my soul reaches out to bring your loving
spirit closer to me,
it brushes the strings of
my heart,
Creating beautiful music to my soul,
The soothing melody envelopes me,
it comforts me,
My lullaby to sleep.
