The more life-like the artist's impression,
The more appealing his work is to me;
I see art as a form of expression
Of God's unsurpassable artistry.

The vast natural world is a jewel
Of abundant creative supplies;
God's bountiful, beautiful training school
Imparts divine truth to discerning eyes.

May we learn through our observations
Something more of God's marvellous ways,
Portraying in our humble creations
Hearts outpouring with worship and praise.

If our focus is Christ and God's glory,
Simple things overflow with delight;
Everything, everywhere, tells a story
To point man to redemptive light.

May we all in our artistic labour
Demonstrate our Great God who is real,
By the lead of His Spirit endeavour
To creation's Creator reveal.
