Church II

Two shrouded figures appeared at the back of the church.
Spiritual seekers,
Poor,
Homeless,
Rags were their apparel.
Their look was one of impoverisment, abandonment, and despair.
Their search was one for love, hope,forgiveness, mercy.
With great timidity, insecurity, fear, and hope,
They entered the doors of the church
To welcomes,
Smiles,
And social acceptance.
The love,
Warmth,
Hope,
And forgiveness of Jesus Christ was everywhere.
Freely loved,
Needs assessed,
Provisions given without judgement, disdain, or disgust.
Their hearts were touched.
They saw Jesus in the church.
And now they too have accepted Jesus Christ into their hearts
For they saw Jesus in others lives.
